We offer a European and worldwide time critical and freight forwarding service on a 24 hour basis. We are the UK arm of the largest and most successful group in Europe, specialised in time critical logistics with offices in 18 countries.

Job Responsibilities

The methods of transportation used include dedicated aircraft and helicopter charter, on board courier service, express airfreight and dedicated vehicles.

Role Overview

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat.
  • Analyse the delivery options open to them, cost out these options and respond to the client, detailing your recommendations and timings.
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing and availability.
  • Work with internal departments to meet customer’s needs.
  • Data entry in various platforms.
  • Working closely with our partners in the UK, worldwide and our other offices throughout Europe ensuring complete monitoring from door to door.

You will be trained in all aspects of the role including the use of our in house systems.

Skills

Requirements

  • Essential to this position is written and spoken German language ability.
  • Preferably but not essential you will have some experience of road and or air transport services.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy is important as well as the ability to be productive while in a fast paced environment.
  • Good communication skills with colleagues as well as shippers and carriers, is essential for success in this position.

Condition of employment

Working Hours

Normal office hours are 9.00 – 17.30 hours however our business does not stop outside these hours. We work on a rota system that you will be part of which covers mornings, evenings and occasional weekends and bank holidays that are paid additionally.
