The position of Director Data Insights plays a critical role in advising the Management team to support long-term growth opportunities. The role is key in providing data-centric solutions to various stakeholders at the group, brand and functional levels. The Data Director will ensure that initiatives under the position’s area of responsibility are successfully executed, agile, and responsive to change.

Your Mission

• Lead & augment the Data team to support & accelerate our business model shift;
• Create a vision and roadmap for data infrastructure, automation and BI tools to drive a step change in our processes and analytical capabilities;
• Connect with business stakeholders and senior management team to define & communicate the vision and roadmap;
• Earn trust of stakeholders by obsessing over their business use cases and data needs and helping them solve problems with technology;
• Establish best practices including quality assurance, automation, code reviews, quality checks, and data alarms;
• Create a culture of continuous improvement through automation, self-service analytics, and reporting;
• Drive complex data analysis in new uncharted areas to gain insights into performance;
• Roll up sleeves when need to write or review codes, establish data pipelines, or create data visualizations for our stakeholders;
• Establish new statistical/ML approaches to improve our business insights;
• Hire, spearhead and guide the career development of a team of Data talents, focusing on stabilizing our database and promoting data-driven decisions.
